The ae is an alternative spelling for the German ä which is how Atmosphäre would normally be spelled in our German mother tongue. But the ä is not used in many other languages (certainly not English) nor available on any other keyboard, so we opted for the ae as a beautiful mixture between our German heritage and Eric's second Australian nationality and language.
